A fifth suspect has been arrested for his role in the slaying of NFL star Sean Taylor, according to Miami-Dade prosecutors.
Timothy Brown, 16, has been charged with first-degree murder under a sealed warrant.
Taylor was shot in the groin during a botched burglary on Nov. 26 in his Palmetto Bay house. He died later at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Within a few days, police arrested four men: Jason Mitchell, Eric Rivera, Charles Wardlow and Venjah Hunte, all of the Fort Myers area. Each has been charged with first-degree murder.
Brown is Wardlow's cousin and police believe he accompanied the men to Taylor's house. He is jailed in Lee County awaiting transport to Miami-Dade.
